Mercure Sheffield Kenwood Hall & Spa

We had a lovely time staying here! Thank you so much to the reception staff, the spa staff for looking after us. The grounds were lovely, and the hotel was kept clean. We thouroughly enjoyed our time in the spa, it was extremely relaxing. We also loved the breakfast, where we were spoilt for choice! We will definitely be coming back! Special shoutout to Lucia who kept our room clean and tidy during our stay!

I was stunned upon arrival with the views and cleanliness of the grounds of the hotel. I have stayed in numerous of Mecure hotels and by far this is now my best by far!!! I was greeted in reception by a very smiley Lisa who seems absaloutely brilliant and fits so well here! Once i got my key for my room she ensured me that if I have any issues what so ever to come straight back to her (there are no issues because this place is amazing) - she explained all facilities so well and is so friendly to talk to, I cannot big her up enough!! When I arrived in my room it was spotless, spacious and just generally so comforting to be in! What a place, I definitely will be returning!!!!

Maddison from the spa was fantastic. Her service was above and beyond. She was so accommodating, letting us sit in the relaxation room when swimming lessons started before treatments and gave us fresh robes. She also went the extra mile bringing us coffees. Then I lost my necklaces and she spent so long looking to find them. A lovely kind person through and through

My friend and I recently did an overnight spa with lunch, dinner, breakfast and a half hour treatment. When we arrived there was a bit of a mishap with our booking, the spa treatment hadn’t been booked by the staff member who had done the reservation. Nicky on reception was great, she sorted it all out for us so we could still have it done. There was a bit of a mix up with our lunch booking but again Nicky stepped in and sorted it with the help of Ranjan. Ranjan let us eat earlier than expected so we could then have our treatment. He was brilliant, advised of the food choices and served us with a smile and nothing too much trouble. Nicky sorted our room a little earlier so we could change ready for the treatment booked. She was brilliant, when we arrived at our room it had balloons, rose pets on the bed, a complimentary box of chocs each and a birthday card each - we were both there celebrating our birthdays on the 26 & 28 jan. This was a lovely unexpected surprise and added to our pamper day/night. In the spa we both had Phoebe and again she was brilliant, our massage was just what we needed and Phoebe put us at ease, my friend was a bit nervous. All in all our stay was more than we expected and the three members of staff mentioned were so brilliant we had to give them all a mention. Thank you Kenwood we will be back. We recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Kenwood Hotel, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A very special thank you to Lisa at reception, who went above and beyond to make my birthday truly memorable by upgrading our room. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture, and it immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. When we entered the room, we were blown away. Elise had beautifully prepared it with balloons and a birthday card, which was such a personal and heartfelt touch. Walking into that surprise made the day feel incredibly special. It’s those thoughtful details that turn a simple hotel stay into a lasting memory. The room itself was lovely — spacious, comfortable, and immaculately presented. Everything felt well cared for and relaxing, making it easy to unwind and fully enjoy the occasion. Throughout our stay, every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and warm. Thank you to Lisa, Elise, and the entire team for making my birthday celebration so special. We truly appreciated the exceptional service and kindness, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

As a mother who never gets a break, I absolutely owe it to you for the amazing bubble bath and 10 hour sleep I got last night! I will forever be grateful! Best night away I could have asked for! Lovely place to stay and the staff are all so welcoming. My room was upgraded for me on arrival which was a very welcome surprise and Lisa on the front desk was amazing. The upgraded room (suite) was perfect and after a few months of insomnia I managed over 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep which is a very rare thing for me. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to all and I will most certainly be back. Thank you to all the staff, especially the woman I chatted with while dining, she was lovely.

Really enjoyed our stay at Kenwood Hall. Staff were all amazing but a special thank you to Nicky and Lisa who welcomed us on our arrival and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were really kind, friendly and fun. The lady at the gym reception desk was lovely too. Our room was great - comfortable and clean with good facilities and a lovely view of the grounds. Will recommend this hotel to friends and family and will be visiting again soon.

This is our 5th stay at Kenwood Hall. It is a lovely hotel with good staff, but each time something different goes wrong, hence 4* rather than 5*. This visit 2 staff members stood out by providing exceptional service. The first was the man behind the bar at 23:50 on Friday 13/2, I believe this was Cameron. We were woken up by someone "singing" and making a lot of noise. I went into the corridor and found another guest trying to locate the source of the noise. We thought we'd found the room so I went to reception and the only member of staff was Cameron behind the bar. I explained the situation and he immediately took responsibility for fixing the issue. It turned out we had 2 rooms making a disturbance and Cameron identified the other room and sorted it out. I was very impressed by his speedy response and resolve to fix the problem for us. I'm not sure where he fits into the hierarchy but if everyone was like him the Kenwood would be an amazing place to stay. Please give him a pay rise and put him into a position where he can improve the service. The second was Ellise on reception, her approach to guests is head and shoulders above that of the other receptionists. We had a couple of issues and Ellise's response was a genuine concern and did all she could to make us feel like valuable guests.

From the second I booked I have had a really good experience with Kenwood Hall, the team and their customer service can’t be matched. Extremely attentive, caring and friendly staff, I would recommend to anyone considering booking for a stay or private event, or even a spa day. Lisa at reception made us feel so welcome, remembered that we spoke previously and she even surprised us by kindly upgrading our room for our special occasion, which was such a lovely gesture and an absolutely stunning view from the balcony. Her passion to customer care made me feel so much more comfortable and happy that I chose Kenwood Hall. A massive shoutout to Elise too, she decorated our room with beautiful little touches that put a smile on our face immediately as we walked in and made our day. Spotless room, effortless check in, everything we needed, really happy guests. The spa was the perfect place to unwind, and honestly, every single person working here was just so kind and genuinely helpful. We had the best time and will definitely be back soon, thank you to everyone!
